Welcome to Crookstown Millview AC!

Crookstown Millview AC is located at Pikesbridge, Narraghmore, Co. Kildare. We are an athletics club that is delighted to offer a wide range of disciplines from Shot Put to Cross Country for anyone looking to get fit, have fun or compete with Irelands best. Our coaches encourage the development, health and well being of all our athletes from five to eighty five.

Rachel Hott Middle Distance (600m 3000m) and Cross Country

General Training Information:

Mondays: 7-8pm at the track                   

Wednesdays: 7-8pm at the track

Little Athletics (5-8yr olds)

Little Athletics is for children aged between 5 and 8 years old. Our coaches use fun & games to encourage general health and fitness while an introduction to the main athletic disciplines is also included. It is great fun and a wonderful way to get children active and develop their sporting interests. Training for Little Athletes is as follows 

Spring/Summer:

Monday: 7-8pm at track.


Autumn/Winter 2015/2016:

Tuesday: 7pm - 8pm. TBD



Come Join Us!

New members can complete a Trial Membership form and attend training for 4 consecutive weeks at a cost of 2 per session.  At the end of the trial membership period, a Full Membership application is required. Please note; only athletes who have paid their membership fees in full are eligible for competition.

The full membership application form, athletes code of conduct and parents code of conduct can be obtained at training or by downloading
 here and returning to the PRO Officer or Coaches at the track.

Directions To Club.

We are located at Pikesbridge, Narraghmore, Co.Kildare.  

 GPS Coordinates  53 02 35.02 N,   6 48 13.57 W

From Dublin.
 Join M7 heading south signposted Limerick & Naas. Join M9 at junction 11 signposted Kilcullen/Carlow. Take the first exit off the M9, signposted Kilcullen. Turn right over motorway bridge then take next left onto R448 signposted Kilgowan. 1.5km past Kildare motor auctions take right hand turn signposted Narraghmore. Track 1km on right.

From Kilcullen. Drive towards M9 motorway interchange. Go over motorway bridge and take next left onto R448 signposted Kilgowan. 1.5km past Kildare motor auctions take right hand turn signposted Narraghmore. Track 1km on right.

From Athy. Get onto R418 signposted Kilcullen. Take signpost for Narraghmore. Through Narraghmore village and track is 1km on left. From Carlow/M9 South. Exit M9 at Ballitore exit, junction 10 and join R448 heading towards Kilcullen. 1km past Crookstown Inn take left hand turn signposted Narraghmore. Track 1km on right.

From Carlow. At Deerpark Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Dublin Rd/R448.  Continue to follow R448 for 2.1 km At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay onR448 for 4.7 km.   At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay onR448 for 180 m.   At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay onR448 for 17.6 km.   Take left onto L8015 for approx. 1.2km
